while mom and kate went shopping, dad and i went to TESLA MOTORS for a bit to check out their roadster. the car was incredible and slightly spooky. imagine doing 0-60 in under 4 seconds and not hearing any sound from a muffler; it was truly unreal.

the kids came all the way over from iowa. it was so great to see mick and alyce again, after our LAST WONDERFUL MEETING. this time was a little less hectic though, swapping stories instead of vows. as usual, it was great seeing them. i hope june works out in our favor, allowing us to cross paths again.

ms. lindsey had ask me to participate in her video project about a week ago. on sunday, the project was begun and completed in about four hours. from venice to santa ana, the locations and setting felt very appropriate for the tone. i'm really excited to see the finished product. hopefully, i'll be able to post something on it in the near future.

STEINY's course, we were given a straightforward assignment, which ask us to create a drawing of good versus evil. whittling four options down to one, i choose to have fish(good) fight the fishermen(evil). neither are truly evil, but i choose to portray the hunter as so. oh, the tables have turned!

RIGHT TURNS.

STORY:
sam and lauren participated in the MACHINE PROJECT (MORE) at LACMA on saturday. participating in adam overton's time after time after ... (for chet baker), lauren and sam[along with about 50 other people] surrounded tony smiths' smoke(seen behind my parent's HERE) and clapped once per minute for sixty minutes. after watching their performance for about 15 minutes, i went and made a MONOME synthesizer until the ladies were finished. following their performance, we worked to solve an art murder mystery.

friday evening, emma invited a few people out to here house for a get together. the evening was incredible enjoyable, the weather was perfect, and the drive to and from her home was one of the best i've been on in my life. it was just what i needed.

for my screenprinting course, we went to the FOWLER MUSEUM. the trip was nice and ucla's campus is beautiful. i hadn't ever been before, but this visit was a wonderful time to start. the fowler had some really nice shows up. i hope to be back on the campus sometime soon.

the next notch in the belt for her photography course, here is sam's series based on architecture, which was previously hinted at HERE. the project began on another idea completely, but finished here. i think the photos are gorgeous, eloquent, and the things dreams are made of. the understated air that follows these photos is something few will ever create.
