GETTING THE GOT.

OVERCAST WHITE.

PLAYING DRESS UP:

(l to r: lindsey and me)

STORY:
ms. lindsey and i shot my final for lighting studio. the whole thing was supposed to be based around a particular artist - generally, photographers or cinematographers; i chose CHARLIE WHITE and his shots called 'champion' and 'patrimony'. cross your fingers that the film comes out properly exposed, as the assignment is due next friday.

BOOK SHOW:

STORY:
on the sixth floor, we hosted a book show. i finished my book on aphasia and was very satisfied with its outcome. the whole show felt nice, but rushed. i'm going to send my book to organizations that deal with aphasia, with the hope they can find some use for it. also, i will it up here someday soon.

========================================

MASKS:

STORY:
above is tiimo's final for drawing and painting, and one of my favorite pieces i've seen this year. the candles, having images based in the christian religion, were handled with extreme consideration to detail. most candles have ski masks covering the faces of the religious icons and i felt it spoke to a certain truth within their lifestyles. the story goes that their job was dangerous and they were often persecuted. with this thought, tiimo flips the idea to suite the modern standards of identity protection - a la the ski masks.

AFTER:
i've spoken with tiimo and i'm hoping we can take this a bit further, with other subject matter also involved.

GREASED GOODNESS:

STORY:
