i've started my internship at BEAUTIFUL/DECAY. the people are nice. the days are busy. it is looking to be a big summer, and they are going to be a huge part of it.

they were getting their kicks at the OTIS PROFESSIONAL PAINTER'S SHOW. the show, which came out looking really nice, contained one piece created by myself. naturally, the best part of the show was the people - and it was good seeing a few otis folk. i also want to say thank you to MELTDOWN COMICS for being so great to us over the last couple weeks.

HORN DEBUT.

STORY:
the good man JT STEINY invited me out to perform with him at MELTDOWN COMICS for his A-BOOK-A-WEEK student show. a whole gang of friends and randoms showed up to make it a really enjoyable time.

SIDE NOTE:
i need to take a moment to say thank you to ashley for helping me sew and make the body of unicorn. there is no way it would have been half of what it is without you. thank you, ms. ashley!

after the whole wiz-bang of a show, there was a raffle - and a chance for a one-of-a-kind unicorn button. i wanted to do a unicorn spit button, and fortunately the person drawn, ms. mary, was okay with this. thus, mary is now the proud owner of the one and only unicorn spit button.

NEW GROUND RULE.

DOWNTOWN:

STORY:
the junior graphic show took place and it was great. the whole show, from the set-up to the takedown, was a lot of work - but they payoff was huge. it was great to be in a show with all of my friends, and be surrounded by all of their incredible work.

alan kocarian won the first book from the 'Unicorn Promotes Literacy' program. it was the first of many contests i plan to hold on UNICORN'S FACEBOOK PAGE.

george and i's friend teena invited us out for the OPENING CEREMONY barbecue. the whole thing was a little intro to the lifestyle of summer, and my bones appreciated it. i welcome warm weather and more things like this with open arms.

for my alternative materials course, we were asked to do a series of 3 pieces on folklore or ritual. i choose the practice of exorcisms, and will have a greater explanation for these pieces when they are on my WEBSITE soon. i've still got a few finishing touches to put on the pieces, but these are getting close to the finish line.
