GRIPPED.

THE OZARK OFFERINGS:

with almost four full weeks of appreciation in joplin, i've returned to my city by the sea. being at home was wonderful. the parents are skipping, the city is growing, and the love is flowing. i consider myself very fortunate for the fine friends and family i have. thank you to everyone who made my trip one long smile.

SKULLS IN THE WATER:

STORY:
i was over at mr. graham's home working on a new(top-secret) project when we heard a knocking on the door. i went to the door and was surprised to see a younger fellow out of breath. as he slowly recovered he began to tell me how he thought he found a skull in a nearby stream. i, of course, followed him. a 1/4 of a mile away, the child began to lose his shoes and socks as he climbs into the creek. he wafts throught the water as he looks for the skull he had previously seen. upon finding it again, i hand him a stick to pull it out. he becomes too scared and we head back to the home.
