QUALIA

i understand these bailouts are extremely complicated, but we can't keep bailing out everything. first, the banks. second, the auto industry. now, the MORTGAGES. i don't have an answer, but i do know that we got ourselves into this problem by creating equity/funds/cash that didn't exist. aren't these bailouts creating the same problem? except, this time it is being done directly by the government. (on a side note, i think the only thing that should have been bailed out is the people, a la the mortgages/loans. if the people have money, the economy doesn't suffer. the people create the economy.) thoughts? tell me about it in the comments.
