DISAPPEARING ACT, DAY ONE.
FIRST STOP:
(l to r: paul and george)
STORY:
we stopped for the cuisine at the carl's jr.
========================================
STUFFING:
(l to r: john, george, paul, and rob)
STORY:
the groceries were a challenge all their own. we purchased nearly all of our food/drinks in this trip and packed almost all of in the cab of the car, as the trunk was already overflowing.
========================================
CABIN, FIRST VIEWING:
(l to r: george and john)
STORY:
we found our cabin with relative ease. it was a moment of pure elation; it was everything we had hoped for and more. in this moment, john and george were walking into the cabin for the first time. rob and i were the first to enter. for about 3 minutes, all of us felt like kids in a candy store.
========================================
DRINKING AND DRAWING:
(l to r: rob, george, and john)
STORY:
we unpacked and prepared the cabin for the next 4 days. on a bookshelf, i uncovered a few bridge score books, which would become our canvas for the evening. we played a few games that enhanced the flow of alcohol and scribbled a few lines onto the papers as we passed around the group drawings.
