JT STEINY's new show titled "noisy" and/or "i started a war" opened at new puppy gallery. i came with a horn, and attempted to make as many enemies as possible. i'll be involved in the closing ceremonies too. there will be more to come.

STAND ON THE MARK:

STORY:
sam invited me to a performance of one of my favorite photographers CHARLIE WHITE. he was doing a CASTING CALL AT LAXART. it is part of his latest focus on developmental adolescence, specifically with the epitomized summer girl.

the set-up was something that could really change the piece, and i thought they handled it pretty nicely. the glass wasn't a two way mirror, and there was over a foot of room about the new wall for sound to be shared between the room - and the viewers weren't quiet. i wonder how much of this charlie intended.

either way, it was an interesting spectacle.

advanced image making is getting weirder. last week, we did a SELF-PORTRAIT ASSIGNMENT with only a copy machine. this week involved a fashion show with modernist principles. julian and i worked ours together, and it should be up on the class WEBLOG soon.
