STORY:
above is a study for my children's book that i've been working on. everything i had done prior to this was only in ink. i like the stance and feeling created by the monster, but i feel like i need to tone everything a bit darker - almost like everything is happening around dusk.

my mother and i stopped by the new opening at SPIVA on friday. there was a large variety of pieces, but i enjoyed quite a few. it was good to see joplin still buzzing along with a good pace.
