STORY:
for my advanced image making course, we were asked to produce a product using only the elements available on initial's product's box.

i chose otter pops, and worked to remove all of the elements that made the work initially appeal to me.

once the box lost the bright colors and bubbly text, it became almost a completely different type of product, and the title took a different meaning. the otter pops became real, like pieces of otter meat in a box.

i never felt more american (or like tibor kalman when he did the cigarettes for the nytimes op-ed).
