type design is moving at the progress it needs to. the face is dull, but the learning is more than enough. mostly, i sit and stare. (also, i realize savant is spelled incorrectly.)

GREENSCREEN FOR GREEN:

(l to r: brennah, jeff, and yongmin)

STORY:
my whole class just finished working on the video for A DAY WITHOUT ART, which is a new project that we all started in 'advanced image making'. there are still a few changes that need to be made, but things are very close to being completely finished.

i'll post the video when everything is nice and tidy.

DINOSAURS AND DIORAMAS:

(l to r: amy, robyn, and stephanie)

STORY:
last sunday, i went to the NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM OF LA for the first time. it was incredible, and absolutely one of my favorite things i have seen recently. from the display of the work, to the variety of things on view, i walked away very impressed and enticed. in fact, i'm already wishing my feet were back on its marble floors.

also, unicorn shot a video there. more on that soon.

SECOND PEASLEE:

(l to r: george and tomie)

STORY:
george's sister came to visit, so we put on our entertainer/chauffeur/explorer hats and saw many parts of the city we hadn't before - including IKO IKO, OOGA BOOGA, and THE CHEESE STORE OF SILVERLAKE.

this whole weekend didn't leave me wanting. it was overflowing with things i hadn't done in a while, like karaoke and beach meal eating.

NON-BLONDE.

SOMETHING TO CRY ABOUT:

STORY:
i recently finished inking a new unicorn drawing for my 'drawing intensive' course.

the drawing features the aftermath of a crime committed against unicorn. i will explain it more when i post the final drawing.

the drawing, once watercolored, will be involved in the next raffle on UNICORN'S FACEBOOK PAGE – which will be happening when the lovely thing hits 5000 fans.

DISSIPATING BAND:

(l to r: unicorn and paul)

STORY:
PAUL and unicorn recently performed at the closing events of jt steiny's show called 'i started a war'.

with paul on guitar and unicorn singing, they interpreted jt's book called 'porniture'. it went better than expected, but i haven't found any video yet. there was a video taken by a gentleman in the audience, and, if you happen to be him, please contact me.
