for type design, the finish line is in sight. this is my work, still in progress. in the coming week, i'll be producing a poster with it. next semester, i'll be producing a font, that isn't required to focus on a calligraphic base.

ms. EMI invited me to SMALL GIFT, the sanrio party celebrating 50 years and a lot of hello kitty. the size of the party was daunting, and took over a whole hangar in the santa monica airport. we enjoyed the ferris wheel, that is probably meant to fit two children, and i overstuffed my stomach with veggie chili fries from the FRYSMITH and a mac and cheese sandwich from the GRILLED CHEESE TRUCK. this had to have been one of the most interesting events i've ever been to in relation to one company. thanks, ms. emi.
