A TRUTH OR TWO.

THINKIN' ABOUT YOU:

STORY:
for my alternative materials course, we are doing a linoleum block, two color print. i just finished the red block, but still need to do the other. this is my first time doing any cutting since high school, and that was a rough experience. linoleum has left far less scars.

A RIVER:

STORY:
los angeles caught a few storms over this last week. i recently ran down to dockweiler, the beach near me, and the storm had really carved into the sand leaving a bunch of mini cliffs.

VIEWING SPACES.

INTO ANOTHER SPACE:

STORY:
over break, i helped my momma get a simple website set up. things are looking glorious and i recommend perusing THE THING. she has some really terrific work, but i am completely biased. - so don't take my word for it and check it out yourself. the link will now be on the side under MARGIE MOSS, with all the other good people in my life.

COUNTY VIEWING:

STORY:
sam invited me to a viewing of MISSISSIPPI MERMAID, that was put on by LACMA'S FILM PROGRAM. the style and character of the film are so enticing. i would have loved to have seen how films like this were made. the overflowing stern faces and ridiculous plotlines stir me well. thanks for inviting me, ms. gregg.

SEEMINGLY INCONSPICUOUS:

(l to r: paul and tiimo)

STORY:
this photo looks almost cut in half with the jackets and sweaters, right? it's really entancing, beguiling, and all that good stuff. i'd just say you two complete each other. prop 8 time?

GARDEN:

(l to r: erik and morgan)

STORY:
two joplinites came through the greater los angeles area. it was a pause in the day and a reminder of life outside of the things i usually am doing - which needs to occur more often.

STORY:
went to have pizza from an incredible pizza maker and incredible painter, DAN MCWILLIAMS. it's always great to be in his company, even if only for a moment.

A FIRST:

STORY:
on the only opportunity i had to see mcauley basketball team play, they WON their first game. when things like this line up, it is hard not to feel something in the air.

FOR EXHILARATION:

(l to r: tyler, kevin, timmy, and carson)

STORY:
sledding will never get old. ramps definitely help. sadly, running back up the hill was the only form of calisthenics i did over break. ice and snow can be a deal breaker, but i wasn't upset at all.

PRODUCE:

(l to r: brielle)

STORY:

CUTS IN THE SNOW:

(l to r: mom)

STORY:
the woman can still sled, and most energy was used trying to make the paths on the hill. snow is still beautiful though.
